Antelope Valley Partners for Health & Antelope Valley Medical Group’s project aims to improve participant experience in the Antelope Valley Community in Los Angeles County. The Project will focus on increasing WIC participation, awareness, enrollment, and retention. Innovative strategies employed by the project include creating a community awareness campaign encompassing WIC Champions, community canvassing; and mobilizing their Community Health Navigator workforce. Lessons learned will assist with other organizations seeking to leverage WIC and nonprofit partnerships; and utilize community navigation services to enhance community awareness.
