Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services’ (ACCESS) project aims to enhance WIC enrollment and retention in Wayne County.
The project will focus on increasing WIC participation, reduce stigma, and tailor outreach to community needs. Innovative activities employed by the project include collaborations with local organizations, storytelling campaigns, a nutrition garden initiative, and a WIC in schools program. Lessons learned will serve as a model for other communities, providing scalable strategies to improve WIC outreach and participation across diverse populations.
