The Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, WIC Division’s Project aims to focus on retention in Berrien, Calhoun, Genesee, Newaygo, Oakland Counties.
This project will use an innovative Client Ambassador Program to address barriers connecting with the WIC program, and misconceptions about the value of the WIC program. Lessons learned through the Client Ambassador Program will provide a replicable model for engaging communities in improving health outcomes.
