Open Door Family Medical Center’s Project aims to formalize partnerships between WIC and Head Start and develop educational workshops to improve WIC retention in Westchester, Suffolk, and New York Counties in New York.
This project will employ an innovative bidirectional enrollment and referral framework between WIC and Head Start. Lessons learned will provide a sustainable, scalable, and nationally applicable template for WIC and Head Start collaboration.
