Blue Valley Community Action Partnership’s (BVCA) project seeks to increase utilization of WIC services among Latino and rural populations in Nebraska.
BVCA will expand partnerships with rural health care providers, businesses, and organizations, and will use community-level data to develop new ways to reach potential WIC participants.
BVCA will incorporate members of the WIC community in identifying barriers to participation and assisting with design of cost-effective Spanish-language videos, cookbooks, and health care manuals that will be transferable to other rural, Latino communities.
