Blue Valley Community Action Partnership’s (BVCA) project aimed to increase utilization of WIC services among rural populations in Nebraska.
BVCA expanded partnerships with rural health care providers, businesses, and organizations, and used community-level data to develop new ways to reach potential WIC participants.
BVCA incorporated members of the WIC community in identifying barriers to participation and assisting with the design of cost-effective videos, cookbooks, and health care manuals that will be transferable to other rural communities.
